Jude Powell is an English actor and filmmaker. 
​

Jude, a 22-year-old from Lewisham, London, was brought up in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. He attended Highworth Combined School & Nursery. At age 12, while attending a secondary school for the deaf, he discovered his passion for acting and the opportunity to perform on screen. During his time there, the school produced a short film that was submitted to the Into Film Awards. In 2017, the students had the incredible opportunity to attend the event at the Odeon in Leicester Square, London, where they walked the red carpet and met renowned actors such as Daniel Craig, Eddie Redmayne, and Ed Skrein.

He decided to join Deafinitely Youth Theatre from 2019 to 2024 and achieved the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Art Awards. After that, he enrolled in The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama for the BSL Acting Intensive course led by Paula Garfield MBE and Jenny Sealey MBE in July 2024. He is also an alumnus of Vamos Theatre, having completed the Elevate Residency programme in 2025. Recently, he was accepted into the National Youth Theatre and will join a membership course later in 2025.

He made his official television debut portraying Jake Green in the third series of The Chelsea Detective on Acorn TV, starring alongside Adrian Scarborough. Other credits include the role of the client in The Chris Baker Show and Adrian in Ava’s Story.​​ â€‹Jude will make his Netflix debut in 2026, as announced by his agent, Aston Management, on their website.​

He studied Creative Media and achieved distinctions at both GCSE and A-Level while attending Heathlands School for the Deaf in St Albans and Berkshire College of Agriculture in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
